The City Government of Davao turned over 50 unserviceable firearms to the San Pedro Police Station 2 on February 5, 2025, as part of the Oplan Katok/Tapik operations under the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO).

Among the surrendered firearms were 19 shotguns, 26 .38 revolvers, one .45 pistol, one 9mm pistol, one .22 caliber, and two Sam Trooper pistols. The General Services Office of Davao City Hall facilitated the turnover to ensure proper disposal and compliance with firearm regulations.

Police urged gun owners with expired licenses to renew their permits or surrender their firearms for safekeeping to maintain public safety and compliance with the law.
