Davao City Exceeds Revenue Target, Collects Over ₱13B in 2024

Davao City recorded a total revenue collection of ₱13,411,775,117.29 in 2024, surpassing its target of ₱12.73 billion by 105.35%, according to City Treasurer’s Office (CTO) OIC Atty. Lawrence Bantiding. The collection also marked a 4.53% increase from 2023.

Over 20% of the revenue came from local business taxes, reflecting strong economic growth in the city. Bantiding emphasized that the increase in business sales and receipts signals a thriving local economy. The CTO expressed gratitude to taxpayers for their contributions, which allow the city to enhance public services.

For 2025, the city targets ₱14 billion in revenue, a 12.69% increase, driven by a higher National Tax Allotment and increased real property and business tax collections. The CTO reaffirmed its commitment to efficient tax collection to support Davao City’s continued development.
