Davao City Economic Enterprises Record Consistent Revenue Growth from 2022 to 2024

The Davao City Economic Enterprises (CEE) has seen a remarkable and consistent increase in its revenue collection from 2022 to 2024, underlining the city’s strong and resilient economic growth.

In 2022, the CEE’s total revenue collection reached P177,701,208.84, and in 2023, it grew to P200,479,396.76. However, it was in 2024 that CEE surpassed its target, marking a 5.48% increase from the previous year. The total revenue collected for 2024 amounted to P211,473,170.76, showcasing the sustained success of the city’s economic operations.

Key Contributors to Revenue Growth

The significant growth in CEE’s revenue can be attributed to its market operations, which continue to be the largest contributor, followed closely by slaughterhouse operations. These vital services, along with others under CEE’s purview, are part of the city’s revenue-generating frontline services, which include food, transportation, and deathcare. These operations directly contribute to the City Treasurer’s Office revenue, supporting local governance and public services.

CEE Manager Maximo Macalipes Jr. emphasized that the consistent increase in revenue is essential to the ongoing economic development of the city.
