Wow, Davao! Converge Ignites Month-long Digital Festival

As Davao City celebrates its 89th Araw ng Dabaw, Converge ICT Solutions Inc. is turning up the volume with “Wow Davao! ,” the kick-off event to a month-long celebration of community, connectivity, and the company’s growing presence in the city.

The event began with a heartfelt “thank you” to the subscribers who have made Converge their choice. As part of the culmination of the nationwide “Christmas to the Power of X” raffle, Converge awarded Smart TVs to lucky Davaoeño winners, highlighting its commitment not only to connecting homes but also to elevating the digital lifestyles of its subscribers.

Following the awarding of local winners of the nationwide raffle, the company unveiled a surprise reveal: a comprehensive roadmap of events starting this weekend to keep the city’s digital pulse racing all month as Converge cements its presence in the region.

From the soul-stirring melodies of local icons to the high-stakes arena of competitive esports, Converge is proving that its presence in Mindanao is more than just fiber optics. First in the lineup of events is the “Hugyaw Dabaw Sound Xperience” on March 15, 2026, at Rizal Park. Converge is transforming the historic grounds into a vibrant open-air stage, celebrating Davao’s passion and homegrown sound.

Taking the stage is a powerful lineup of some of the region’s finest talents. Headlining the night is the much-anticipated Oh! Caraga and Delinquent Society, joined by local favorites Tatot Band, The Hightimes, The Dukes, and DJ Dale Castillo. 

Bringing their signature charm and energy are two of Davao’s most beloved personalities: Kai del Corro (Sinag ng Dabaw 2016) and Sherwinabols.

For the gaming community, Converge is bridging the gap between play and performance. On March 22 at SM City Davao, Converge co-presents “Dula! Dabawenyo”, an esports festival powered by The GameChanger.

The celebration continues on March 26 with Geeky Nights by Converge at Tiger Sports + Bar, a community event and gathering of Davao’s gamers, school organizations, tech enthusiasts, and esports professionals.
